Knapp drei Dutzend weltweit verteilte Teilnehmer (u.a.

From Russia with Love – Freedom and bittersweet love. The song, "Bad Boy," from Swiss-Canadian singer Rykka is a highlight on her new album Beatitudes (Nov 2016). Its shredded voice-samples, solid dancefloor-beats and rhythm changes offered up a playground for contestants of the remix contest that was launched last summer. Around three dozen participants from all over the world (America, Germany, Indonesia, Canada, Korea, Poland, Spain) rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Three nominees have definitely made their mark. At third place, G-Nova hailing from France, has had some great success through his collaborations. Second place goes to English artist Rob Hayes, who put the focus on a funky bass line. And finally in first place from Mother Russia, finest Kinbell! From his adoptive home in St. Petersburg, Kinbell has brought a fresh interpretation and has really included the styles and elements of the original track in a way we love. He deserves the winning place more then ever. As free as bittersweet - love!
